TOPIC: Excessively long maintenance for what?

Last Sunday's marathon "We are working on the site" appears to have produced a lot more bugs into the system, rather than fixing things.
The "Traffic" area is particularly badly effected. Many sites fail to credit when watching for the first time. And then, sites reappear on the list as the page automatically refreshes. Since we have already seen and been credited for them, we end up wasting our time watching a second time.
Deferrer has got slower than ever - the delay appearing to be the handover from fanslave to derefferer, so looks like a fanslave problem again!
I guess we should expect a lot more downtime soon!
